ADA-Compliant

When you find yourself in need of a portable restroom, the last thing you want to do is overlook the handicapped community. 26% of the American population is living with some form of disability, and the Americans with Disabilities Act was established in 1990 to ensure that these people are properly provided for and protected from discrimination.

26% is a huge demographic, but even if it was only 1%, the right thing to do is always to ensure that you’ve provided for the unique needs of the diabled community. Whether you’re hosting a large community event or simply need to provide on-site services for a construction project, you should always invest in an ADA-compliant portable restroom.

On Call Services & Rentals provides clean, comfortable, and spacious porta potties for individuals with varied special needs. We carefully inspect and service each unit after every rental so you can rest assured you’ll be getting a high-quality porta potty every time.

All of our ADA-accessible portable toilets come equipped with grab bars to make the unit more easy to maneuver in, and to prevent slips and falls. We also line the floors in our ADA-accessible porta johns with anti-slip material.

We also design all of our ADA-accessible handicap toilets to sit at ground level so no ramp is required for folks to access the unit.

ADA Toilets for Work Sites and Events

We recommend one ADA-accessible handicap toilet for every ten employees over a typical 40-hour work week.

For large events, we recommend at least two porta potties for every hundred people who will be attending, plus a third if there will be alcohol, and a fourth if they’ll be staying longer than four hours.

Don’t write off the need for an ADA-accessible portable toilet at your wedding or family reunion just because nobody attending uses a wheelchair! There are plenty of less obvious disabilities that make easy-access restrooms necessary, including weight, age, and unseen mobility issues.
